Throughout Newport

Today’s fun starts at 9 am at the bayfront with the Survival Suit race and the Blessing of the Fleet at 11 am, followed by the Newport Fishermen’s Wives BBQ at 1 pm at the Yaquina Bay Yacht Club, 750 SE Bay Blvd. The Memorial Service, remembering Lincoln County fishermen who were lost at sea, will be held at the Fishermen’s Memorial Sanctuary at Yaquina Bay State Park at 4 pm.
