Bid good-buy

The Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce is providing a safe way to get a head start on your holiday gift list by hosting an online auction featuring more than 50 locally donated items, open for bidding from Monday through Saturday, Nov. 16 to 21.

The theme for the online auction is “Happy Fall, Y’all.” 

Items up for bid will include quality wine, gift baskets from Oceana, Oregon Coast Aquarium and Grove Veterinary Clinic, stays at the Channel House, the Landing at Newport and La Quinta Inn & Suites, four general admission passes to OMSI, a fishing trip with Newport Tradewinds and gift certificates from Roby’s Furniture and Appliance, Pacific Kitchen at Nye Beach, Rogue Creamery and Oregon Coast Glassworks. 

Proceeds from the auction will go to support the Newport Chamber and their community programs to support local businesses.
