Bid the cold goodbye

Show some love for the Oregon Coastal Quilters Guild and possibly score something handmade by one of these award-winning quilters at the group’s online auction, happening until Sunday, Sept. 26.

The auction includes bed and lap quilts, unique wall hangings, kid’s quilts, table runners and special bags.

Programs that will benefit from the proceeds include Zoom presentations from quilters throughout the US and Canada, and presentations to Lincoln County veterans and community organizations.

The non-profit guild was founded in 1991 to promote fellowship among quilters, knowledge and appreciation of quilts and quilt making and to sponsor and support quilting activities.  Last year, guild members made and donated hundreds of quilts and other handmade articles to various Lincoln County organizations.
