Wristband on the run

Self guided tour showcases North Coast artists

Twelve artists in Manzanita, Nehalem and Wheeler will open their studios to showcase and sell their work this Saturday, July 15.

The self-guided Artist Studio Tour will begin at the Hoffman Center for the Arts in Manzanita, where participants will receive a wristband and booklet with studio directions and information about each artist.

Though studios can be visited in any order, you can start your tour at the Hoffman Gallery, where artists showing their work will include Kopali Serna, Carl Vandervoort, Kathleen Larson, members of Allan Olson Nehalem Bay Pottery and many more.

Children ages 10 and older with parental supervision are welcome, but please leave your pets at home.

For the safety of the artists who are opening their homes to the public, wristbands will be checked for at the entrance of each studio.

Contact the Hoffman Center if you have specific accessibility needs, as many of the studios have stairs or uneven ground.

Please note some studios may only take cash or check.

One hundred percent of the ticket sales will go towards the Hoffman Center for the Arts.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for ages 10 to 18. If cost is prohibitive, please reach out for a possible fee waiver.

Studios will be open from 10 am to 5 pm. The Hoffman Center for the Arts located at 594 Laneda Avenue in Manzanita. For more information go to hoffmanarts.org or call 503-368-3846.
