Catch on fast this fall

October is the perfect time to fall into learning as the Oregon Coast Community College returns to providing in-person opportunities to learn from some of the coast’s most interesting locals and guest lecturers.

Classes like the following sample will get you on your way to learning a new language or a new skill or even taking a deep dive into the ecosystem of this special area.

Conversational German

If attending OktoberCrest at the Beachcrest Brewing Company, featured on page 8, inspires you to get more Bavarian, instructor Katja Mueller will help you learn and practice more words than bier, stein and prost.

As a matter of fact, Mueller is prepared to give you the words and phrases to get you comfortably through a vacation in Germany. Upon completion of the 10-class series, you will be able to navigate all aspects of travel including ordering food, shopping and engaging in simple conversations.
