Immerse yourself in art this spring
Watercolors, mandala stones and book art are among the new lineup of classes from the Artists’ Studio Association in Lincoln City.
Classes are held in the ASA classroom at 620 NE Hwy. 101, next door to the Artists’ Co-op Gallery. The classroom is ADA-accessible and parking is available in the rear of the building. ASA membership is $30 per year and entitles members to discounts on class fees as well as other benefits. For full class descriptions and registration, go to asaart.net.

Exploring Abstract

“Art Smart — The Movie”
The Artists’ Studio Association also hosts the Art Smart kids’ art program, where instructor Krista Eddy offers education through storytelling. Each year, the Art Smart experience is captured on video. At 11 am on Saturday, May 20, join the audience at Lincoln City’s Bijou Theater for a double feature starting with a previous year’s movie, “The Galaxy Artastica,” and then the 2023 movie, “Art Smart – The Micro Adventure.” Suggested ticket donation is $10. Art Smart Kids get in free.
ART on the EDGE
ART on the EDGE is a self-guided tour of coastal artists’ studios, featuring more than 60 artists, at some 30 venues from Pacific City to Newport. ASA artists will be demonstrating and displaying their work in the classroom studio from 11 am to 5 pm from Friday, June 16, through Sunday, June 18.
