Enjoy an intimate evening with a far-ranging photographer, when the Yaquina Art Association Photographers presents “Shooting Nature and Landscapes,” with Noppadol Paothong, via Zoom, at 7 pm on Monday, March 1.

Paothong is a renowned nature photographer and associate fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers. He is also a staff wildlife photographer with the Missouri Department of Conservation.

He has been documenting rare and endangered species, primarily grassland grouse and their fragile habitat, for more than 20 years, and has published two national award-winning books: “Save the Last Dance,” and “Sage Grouse, Icon of the West.”

His images appear regularly in many national publications, including Audubon, Nature Conservancy, National Wildlife and Ranger Rick.
