Flash some green in Seal Rock
Without seeing it in person, it’s hard to picture the staggering amount of lovely holiday decorations created by the elves of the Seal Rock Garden Club for its Holiday Greens Sale.
The club is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year and once again offering coastal residents beautiful hand-crafted creations for sale in the clubhouse this Saturday, Dec. 9.
The sale features green wreaths and swags of various sizes made from locally sourced greens, small live trees and tabletop arrangements, all handmade and decorated by club members.
An array of garden-themed items including a handcrafted garden bench will be offered at a silent auction and a live decorated tree will be raffled off. Ticket holders do not need to be present to win. Refreshments will be offered for shoppers.
A portion of the sale proceeds are donated to local projects for youth and women.
The sale will run from 9 am to 1 pm at the Seal Rock Garden Club, located at 10377 Rand Street on the east side of Highway 101.
