Got some green?

The Seal Rock Garden Club is blooming again with the return of its annual plant and garden-art sale and flower show on Saturday, June 4.

The event honors long-time member, mentor and educator Betty Bahn, who shared her knowledge and plant offerings for more than 20 years.

A wide selection of ornamental plants suited to coastal conditions, all grown by club members, will be at the sale along with perennials of all kinds like grasses, irises, watsonia, sedums, succulents, hydrangeas, natives and unusual and rare specimens.

There will also be outdoor garden art for sale created by local artists and gardeners. These are one-of-a-kind creations: driftwood signs and wind chimes, glass and ceramic flower stakes, birdhouses and baths and mosaics, to name just a few.

And it gets better, enjoy the complimentary flower show of arrangements made with locally grown flowers and foliage.

Take a whirl at winning a handmade wooden garden bench or rototiller in the club’s raffle. Tickets are $5 for each group of six.

The sale and show run from 10 am to 2 pm at the clubhouse, located at 10377 NW Rand Street in Seal Rock. For more information, go to sealrockgardenclub.com.
