Holiday Chorale plays Lincoln City
Enjoy a beautiful blend of many voices when the Holiday Chorale, a choir made up of Central Coast community members, performs two holiday concerts at the Congregational Church of Lincoln City this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16 and 17.
“This is close to the 40th of these concerts,” Rev. Michael Grogan said. “So this is a long-time Christmas tradition.”
The 25-member choir will perform both religious and secular songs, with opportunities for audience participation.
“We will have some traditional fa-la-la singing,” Grogan said, “and the audience will also have some opportunities to sing along.”
The concerts are free but do include the tradition of giving.
"We are urging people to bring canned foods for the Lincoln City Food Pantry,” Grogan said.
Classic holiday tunes and new songs will help you get into the spirit of the season, and with other things on the program like Lincoln City’s handbell choir, there will be plenty of joyful noise.
“We decided on the theme of ‘All is Well: the Music of the Season’ this year,” Grogan said. “It’s a really nice program.”
The concerts begin at 7 pm on Saturday and 3 pm on Sunday at the Congregational Church of Lincoln City, located at 2435 NW Oar Place.
