If you build it, they will camp

When you build an amphitheater, it’s only natural to want to show it off.

And B’nai B’rith Camp in Lincoln City will do just that when renowned pianist Michael Allen Harrison and his All-Star Band headline a BBQ and concert on Sunday, Sept. 26.

The event will support the camp’s work in the local community, particularly the day camp and the Lincoln City Food program. For years, the community has gathered at BB Camp in May for a spaghetti dinner. The BB Camp BBQ and concert replaces this event.

"Serving our community during this extraordinarily challenging time has been a true blessing,” Chief Executive Officer Michelle Koplan said. “Thanks to our committed community and many donors, we have been able to continue to do this important work.  We look forward to gathering the community to celebrate our community, raise needed funding and enjoy the beautiful music of Michael Allen Harrison and his All Star Band.”

Concert-goers should arrive with proof of vaccination, masks and chairs and blankets for the festival-style seating.

The BBQ and tour begin at 3 pm, with the music starting at 4 pm.

Tickets are $20 per person or $40 per family. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to bbcamp.org.
