Increase your artistic under-sanding

Local sand artist Odessa Ford has been chosen to participate in the online version of the BeLeaf 2021 Llano Earth Art Festival, featuring terrestrial artists from around the globe on Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28.

To celebrate, she will be creating a series of special live sand-art events on the beach in Lincoln City.

On Saturday, start the day with a free sand art workshop at 8 am. Later, at roughly 5 pm, Ford will begin creating an interactive labyrinth that will be finished in time for people to stroll through it at sunset.

On Sunday, March 28, at 8 am, Ford will host an “Earthscape Art Experience.”

All events are to take place in front of the beach access just south of the Starfish Manor Oceanfront Hotel.

This year’s virtual BeLeaf festival features 111 artists representing every continent.
