Love to Lahaina

The citizens of Depoe Bay are sending “Love to Lahaina” with a fund-raising dinner for Maui wildfire relief at the Depoe Bay Community Hall on Thursday, Sept. 7.

The menu includes spaghetti, salad, French bread, pineapple upside down cake with ginger whip and non-alcoholic Maui punch.

The suggested minimum donation is $10 per person.

Music will be provided by Michael Dane and there will be a silent auction featuring the grand prize of a Hawaiian dinner for six prepared by Depoe Bay Mayor Kathy Short.

One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to the relief and recovery efforts from the devastation of the wildfires suffered by the Lahaina community. Checks can be written to Hawaii Community Foundation or Maui Food Bank.

Meals will be served from 3 to 8 pm at the Depoe Bay Community Hall, located at 220 SE Bay Street. To go meals will be available.
