Tillamook area nonprofit Food Roots is hosting the first virtual version of its popular Pie Night. Get your appetite primed and ready to choose one or more of the tasty local creations that will be auctioned off at Food Roots’ online local marketplace through Saturday, Nov. 21.

Talented North Coast bakers from several amazing local community food establishments are supporting Food Roots in this effort by creating and donating 65 incredible, artistic and scrumptious pies, ranging in prices to suit all sorts of philanthropic budgets. All pies ordered through this fund-raiser are 100-percent tax deductible, just like at the beloved Pie Night Auction community gatherings from years past.

All sales support Food Roots programs and long-time work in the North Coast to create a vibrant local food system for the benefit of the region.

Options on offer will range from savory to sweet. Choose from unique delights like mixed berry and herb, mincemeat, steak and stout, sour cream and cranberry to longtime favorites like apple pie, banana cream pie, rhubarb pie, pumpkin pie and chicken pot pie.
