Manzanita studio tour

Local artists from Manzanita, Nehalem and Wheeler will open their studios to showcase and sell their work at the Manzanita Artist Studio Tour, this Saturday, July 20.

The tour begins by picking up a pre-ordered wristband or purchasing day-of tickets at Hoffman Center, where you will receive a booklet with studio directions and information about each artist. From there, you can visit the studios at your leisure and in whichever order you want. The Hoffman Gallery will be open that day for you to start your art viewing experience.

Among the many stops this year is the Nehalem Bay Pottery Studio – including owner Allan Olson, Carl Vandervoort, Deborah DeWit, Kopali Serena, Janice Gaines Ehlen, Ben Rosenberg and Steve Grace.

As many studios are small and filled with delicate objects, the tour is for adults and kids aged 10 and older with parental supervision and dogs are not allowed.

One hundred percent of the ticket sales go towards supporting the non-profit Hoffman Center for the Arts.

Wristbands can be purchased or picked up at Hoffman Center between 10 am and 1 pm. The self-guided studio tour runs from 11 am to 5 pm. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students aged 10 to 18 years. Arrangements can be made for those for whom cost is prohibitive. The Hoffman Center is located at 594 Laneda Avenue in Manzanita.
