Ready for some light entertainment?

There is still time to be part of this year’s Holiday Lights Tour, a self-guided celebration of dazzling displays stretching more than 47 miles from Otis to Waldport.

Proudly sponsored by Oregon Coast TODAY, the tour is organized in partnership with chambers of commerce in Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, Newport and Waldport, offering everyone the chance to sign up free of charge.

Participating homes and businesses will be included on the Holiday Lights Tour maps, published in the Dec. 10 edition of Oregon Coast TODAY. All the tour locations will also be included on a set of interactive digital maps designed to make it easy for tour-takers to plan their route on the go.

Signup deadline: Thursday, Dec. 2

All businesses that register for the map will be entered into the Holiday Lights Contest, judged by the chamber’s board of directors.

The chamber board will be awarding trophies for its best display picks.

• Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce

Signup deadline: Friday, Dec. 3.

The Chamber’s Beautification Committee will be selecting business winners for the following categories: best window display, best exterior entry and best overall décor. Winners will be announced at the chamber’s Dec. 10 luncheon and will receive a prize and photo page in the chamber newsletter.
