Ready for spooky Dory time?

It’s a-boat time for Halloween, and Pacific City hosts one of the Central Coast’s most distinctive celebrations of the holiday. Treats, games, live music and more will be found when Trick or Treat the Dory Fleet returns to the Kiawanda Community Center this Saturday, Oct. 28.

The center will be transformed into a Halloween wonderland featuring a lineup of decorated Dory Fleet boats, a spine-tingling trick-or-treat adventure and an array of Halloween activities to enchant visitors of all ages.

Local fishermen turn their dory boats into spooky vessels filled with candies and treats for all ages for a truly unique trick-or-treating experience. The magical night also includes Halloween-themed games and activities curated by the Nesko Women’s Club and the Nestucca Wrestling Club and a booth where each trick-or-treater will receive a complimentary book.

While you enjoy the festivities, quench your thirst and satisfy your cravings with a selection of beverages and snacks available for purchase.

The event runs from 5 to 7 pm at the Kiawanda Community Center, located at 34600 Cape Kiwanda Drive in Pacific City. for more information, go to kiawanda.com or the Trick or Treat the Dory Fleet 2023 page on Facebook.
