Sounds like a great i-dia

Tillamook’s Fairview Grange will be the venue for a two-day Dia de los Muertos celebration on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 1 and 2.

The event, presented by the Oregon Coast Children's Theatre and Oregon Coast Children's Center for the Arts, begins on Tuesday with a Family Day — a time for families to work together to set up ofrendas in memory of lost loved ones. Setup will run from noon to 6 pm. To take part, contact Artistic Director Larry Adrian at 503-801-0603.

On Wednesday, the celebration gets into full swing, with free food from 6 to 7 pm, followed by a host of activities from 7 to 8:30 pm. As well as the chance to view the decorated ofrendas, participants will be able to take part in kids’ activities, face-painting and educational exhibits as well as taking a whack or two at a piñata.

Admission is free. Fairview Grange is located at Fairview Road & 3rd Street in Tillamook.
