Wave hello to harvest season

Neskowin Valley School is inviting everyone to celebrate the bounty of fall at its 41st Annual Harvest Festival this Saturday, Oct. 7.

Guests can expect harvest festival favorites such as local live music, great food, raffle prizes, a cider press, kids’ activities and more.

This annual fund-raiser draws hundreds of locals, visitors, and families to gather and celebrate the community as well as raise funds for the school.

For 50 years Neskowin Valley School students have benefited from small class sizes, individualized education, multi-age classes and experiential learning that immerses students in the natural areas of the Oregon Coast. This year the harvest festival will raise funds for the visual and performing arts. Proceeds from the event will help students participate in theater productions, improv lessons, art literacy workshops, collaborative art projects and hands-on educational field trips in the community.

The 41st Annual Harvest Festival will run from 11 am to 5:30 pm at Neskowin Valley School, 10005 Slab Creek Road.
