Beach, Bacon and Brewfest will return to Lincoln City for its fifth year this Saturday, July 16, with charity cooking teams serving up bacon bites for all to enjoy and competing for ultimate bragging rights.

Teams will compete to win awards decided by a panel of judges as well as the coveted People’s Choice Award.

Tasting enthusiasts will also enjoy samplings from more than 20 microbrews and ciders with some of the best adult beverages the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Live music will be happening throughout the day.

Tickets are $25, which covers $5 in free slot play, beer tastings and live music. Bacon bite tastings are only $1 each. This event is for those age 21 and older.

Brewers include Fort George, Three Creeks, Oakshire, Arch Rock, Ecliptic and Pelican to name a few. Every bacon bite dollar goes directly to the charities: Lincoln City and Depoe Bay Chamber, Coastal Cheer Athletics, My Sisters’ Place, Family Promise of Lincoln County, Lincoln City Playhouse, Cascade Relief Team, Landscaping with Love, Habitat for Humanity and Salmon River Grange.

In addition to the bacon recipe competition, which will include an entry made with plant-based bacon, there will be food vendors selling yummy menu items. Special “designated driver” tickets are also available for only $15 each. Tickets will be available in person at the Chinook Winds Casino Resort Box Office or can be purchased in advance.

The event runs from noon to 6 pm. Chinook Winds Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, is located at 1777 NW 44th Street in Lincoln City. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to chinookwindscasino.com or call 888-244-6665.
