Photography, abstract art and stained glass are among the fall lineup of classes from the Artists’ Studio Association in Lincoln City.

Classes are held in the ASA classroom at 620 NE Hwy. 101, next door to the Artists’ Co-op Gallery. The classroom is ADA-accessible and parking is available in the rear of the building. ASA membership is $30 per year and entitles members to discounts on class fees as well as other benefits. For full class descriptions and registration, go to asaart.net.

 

“Photographing Your Artwork for Web or Print”

Friday, Oct. 7 • 1-3 pm

Learn to record the best workable image of your art. Discuss sharing formats, dpi, file types and online resources. Some experience helpful but not required.

“Basic Framing”

This one-day class is offered twice. Learn to calculate dimensions, cut mats, frame and hang your masterpiece. Bring a small painting to mat.

“Rainbow Seahorse - Epoxy Resin on Wood”

This two-day class is offered twice. Create a rainbow colored, seahorse with epoxy resin. Pick pigments, mix colors and add to resin. Beginners welcome, materials provided.

Guided Painting

Mosaic

Tuesdays • 1-4 pm

Each week, mosaic guild members create lovely, unique artwork using glass, tile, grout and imagination. ASA members with a basic knowledge of mosaic techniques and safety are welcome. No open studio Oct. 4 and Dec. 27.

 

Exploring Abstract

Wednesdays • 10 am-3 pm, starting Nov. 16
