Far from your garden-variety event

Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County is hosting its first annual Home and Garden Show at Lincoln City’s Chinook Winds Casino Resort this Saturday, May 27.

The event will showcase large and small businesses in the home and garden industries, a raffle, entertainment and more. Guests will have an opportunity to support local businesses and the chance to learn about the latest trends in home décor, repair and remodel and health and well-being.

Proceeds from the event will support the organization’s work serving low-income residents of Lincoln County through affordable homeownership opportunities, critical home repairs and disaster recovery efforts.

Habitat members envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live and work toward this vision by building strength, stability and self-reliance in partnership with community members and families in need of decent and affordable housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
