Love trains? Make tracks to Toledo.

All aboard for the Yaquina Pacific Railroad Historical Society’s annual model railroad show at the Portland & Western Depot in Toledo, this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16 and 17.

There will be at least two scales of model railroad running, H0 and O, and there will also be model railroad items for sale.

This year will include an epic raffle opportunity: the grand raffle prize is a ready-to-go H0 4 x 8-foot scale layout that is self-standing with completed scenic work, locomotives and cars. The layout is currently on display at the Toledo History Center at 320 N Main Street.

Additional prizes are a H0 train car and handcar build kit that is produced by R. Duck Locomotive Works.

All proceeds from the raffle will go to support the railroad museum. Raffle tickets are $10 each or two for $15. The pull will be on Sunday, Dec. 17, when the model show wraps up at about 4 pm. Participants need not be present to win and tickets will be sold all the way up until the winners are chosen. Tickets can be purchased at the museum, located at 100 NW A Street in Toledo, via email at yprhs@peak.org or by phone at 541-336-5256.

The show will run from 10 am to 4 pm on both days. For more information, go to yaquinapacificrr.org.
