Newport or bust

Early bird registration is open for the CoastBusters Walk for Breast Cancer, which will return for its third year on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Newport High School.

Proceeds raised from the event will benefit Pacific Communities Health District Foundation Women’s Cancer Fund, which provides a wide array of support to local breast cancer patients.

The event, presented by Next Home Picket Fence Realty, aims to raise awareness in the community and offer hope, strength and courage to all women who have been affected by breast cancer.

Early bird registration is $25 through Thursday, Aug. 31, and guarantees a t-shirt, pink ribbon pin, and swag bag. Registration from September 1 through 24 is $35, and onsite registration on September 30 is $45.
