School’s in for fall

Enjoy the beautiful campus of the Neskowin Valley School as the school hosts its 40th Annual Harvest Festival this Saturday, Oct. 1.

Dance the day away to local, live music, browse the outdoor market, enjoy great food at the Slab Creek Grill & Bakery Cafe, or a refreshing local brew in the beer garden. This year’s silent auction will boast dozens of amazing items donated by local businesses and is open all day.

Other events of the weekend include the campout, beginning on at 3 pm Friday, Sept. 30, followed by a community hike to the Knoll, beginning at 5 pm. A Vine & Van Gogh paint and sip with Neskowin artist and NVS Board Chair Lynne Wintermute will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 pm.

The Harvest Festival runs from noon to 6 pm. The Neskowin Valley School campus is located at 10005 Slab Creek Road. For more information, go to neskowinvalleyschool.com/50th or call 503-392-3124.
