The big cheese returns

By Justin Aufdermauer

You won’t want to miss this year’s June Dairy Parade. Join us this Saturday, June 25 for our favorite event of the summer as we celebrate the 65th annual June Dairy Parade! This year, the beloved community tradition is themed “Cheddar Days are Here Again.”

Spectators can line up and fill the sidewalks as floats, dancers, horses and other parade staples head north up Main Avenue, around the junction of Highway 101 and Highway 6, down Pacific Avenue and then east on Third Street.

Bring your family and friends, come join the Tillamook community as we kick off the summer and celebrate National Dairy Month.

Expect to see families having a great time, local community members mingling, fabulous parade clowns and an overwhelming love for all things dairy. Without Tillamook’s dairy industry, the June Dairy Parade would be missing a key element. Come and celebrate our local farmers, and community at this year’s parade.

The parade begins at 11 am. For more information, go to tillamookcoast.com.
