Break out the bikinis and Hawaiian shirts and escape to the isle of Tiki Temptation during Newport’s famous Seafood & Wine festival weekend.
From Thursday, Feb. 23, through Saturday, Feb. 25, beautiful showgirls at Primaltones Community Venue will mesmerize you with elaborate opening and closing numbers inspired by the nostalgic Ziegfeld Follies.
Performing in an all-new show, Newport’s own Sirens of Sparkle, from Passion Flower Fitness and Dance, will be joined by burlesque superstars Holly Dai and Lu Harlow. Sideshow Svengali Molotov will emcee while beat doctor Tyler Spencer handles DJ duties.
Mundane cares melt away as you enter the doors to Tiki Temptation. Many surprises await you. Listen to the sounds of distant thunderstorms and volcanic explosions. Tempt your most exotic desires, bathe in the beauty of our gorgeous burlesque artists and feel the heat as sensual showgirls take you on a journey to a tropical Tiki paradise and beyond. Dixie DeLish, artistic director of the Primaltones shows, says this will be the venue’s most elaborate burlesque production yet.

These upcoming shows are going to be very special for the Sirens of Sparkle, as two of the troupe members will be doing their very first solo numbers.
This will be a classy, club-like event so guests are encouraged to dress to impress and exotic and tropical attire is highly encouraged. Performances will last approximately 90 minutes, with a DJ dance party to immediately follow the last show. Look cool, feel like a bigshot and don’t forget to bring lots of cash for tipping.
Primaltones venue has local microbrews and cider on tap, a fine selection of wine, hard seltzers, light beers and non-alcoholic options, and food service. The covered, outdoor social area will open with the welcoming warmth of the fire pit.
The Thursday, Feb, 23, performance begins at 9 pm, tickets are $25.
On Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24 and 25, the seated VIP shows are from 6 to 7:30 pm, and the general admission shows begin at 9 pm. Tickets are $45.
