History meets hospitality at Beach Club & Event Center in Lincoln City

For the TODAY
Beach Club & Event Center is a spot unlike any other. Need somewhere to wind down and meet a friend for a drink? Beach Club’s got you covered with a full deluxe bar. Choose from their cocktails, wine or any of their 17 cold beers and ciders on tap, and don’t miss the happy hour menu at the sports bar from 3 to 6 pm.
Looking for a high-quality bite to eat that won’t break the bank? Beach Club has a delicious lunch and dinner menu with something for everyone in their family-friendly dining room.
Want to book a space for a high school reunion, fundraiser, a meeting or even a quinceañera complete with catering? Beach Club is equipped to handle any and all event needs in their large-scale ballroom, complete with a stage.
The list can go on and on. Indeed, Beach Club goes above and beyond without sacrificing high-quality service with its impressive 50 bar stools, 12 big screen TVs, dart board, a giant connect-four and a mini arcade and a full Oregon Lottery.
It’s no wonder this is a favorite spot for tourists and locals alike. And the family that runs this gargantuan operation, headed by co-owners Mike, Lila and William Bradley, works earnestly to maintain a loyal following.
“We work hard to never cut corners,” Lila said. “All of our food is top quality. We are always working on new ways to amplify our menu and make sure everything is fresh and most importantly, that you can taste it.”
And don’t let the “club” in the title deter you; no membership is needed.
“We created and designed this whole place around the idea that it could be a place that anyone would want to go to,” William said. “We wanted it to be somewhere that’s going to make you feel at home; safe and welcome.”
Long-time Lincoln City locals will remember the historic Beach Club building as once being the Elks Lodge, a pinnacle of social events. The lodge was the hub for weddings, charity balls, a meeting place for Elks members and more.
But when Lincoln City’s Benevolent Protective Order No. 1886 disbanded in 2015, the 35,000-square-foot building had a precarious future until the Bradley’s stepped in and bought the building. Mike and William, with the help of two other local contractors, did a full remodel of the then 60-year-old establishment, a task they were well-prepared for with a lengthy and impressive resumé in construction, tile and masonry.
“After being an Elks member for 40 years I became pretty acquainted with the building,” Mike said. “When we bought the building, we knew we could do the project because we are construction people.”
“We had to start from the roof down,” Lila said. “It was a huge operation.”
While the foundation is incredibly sturdy, another strong characteristic of the Beach Club is the delicious and mouth-watering allure of their menu items.
Take their seared ahi for example. This appetizer includes properly seared and tender pieces of tuna with perfectly seasoned sesame crust and a teriyaki and wasabi flavoring, cooked to coastal perfection.
For a more filling choice, try their delicious prime rib dinner.
For a cocktail, the Marionberry Margarita poses an incredibly elegant presentation with an even better taste. Using Hornitos tequila, the drink is mixed with a fresh marionberry purée and finished with some fresh-squeezed lime juice.
Whether you order their calamari, pizzas, sandwiches or burgers, you absolutely cannot go wrong. Rest assured that Beach Club’s consistently fine drinks and impeccable dining can be traced back to the hard-working family that owns and operates the business and loves the community they serve.
“We would not be here without this community and our amazing staff,” expressed the entire Bradley clan, then William added, “We are so appreciative of the support we’ve received in keeping us afloat during the low tides. We look forward to seeing you soon.”
