Lighten up, in Newport

Reward those that have gotten a jump on decorating their home or business by nominating them for an award in the Greater Newport Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Décor Contest.

All nominees will be entered into the Holiday Lights Contest and featured in the annual holiday lights tour map published in the Dec. 10 edition of Oregon Coast TODAY.

The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, Dec. 3.

The Chamber’s Beautification Committee will also be selecting business winners in early December for the following categories: best window display, best exterior entry and best overall décor. Winners will be announced at the chamber luncheon on Friday, Dec.10, and will receive a prize and photo page in the chamber newsletter.
